EYELINER HEALING SCHEDULE

Day 1
Mild swelling, tenderness, and redness are normal. Your eyes may appear slightly puffy, similar to how they look after crying.

Day 2
Swelling may be more noticeable upon waking and should gradually improve throughout the day.

Days 3–4
Swelling should continue to decrease. The treated area may feel tight, dry, or mildly itchy as healing begins. Light flaking may also start.

Days 5–7
Flaking or shedding may continue. The color may appear softer, duller, or uneven during this stage. This is a normal part of the healing process.

Your eyeliner will initially appear darker, brighter, and more sharply defined than the final result. As healing progresses, the color will soften. Final healed results should not be evaluated until approximately 4–6 weeks after the procedure.

EYELINER AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS

Contact Lenses
Do not reinsert contact lenses for the remainder of the procedure day. Wear glasses during the early healing period if your eyes are irritated or swollen, and resume contact lenses once the eye area feels comfortable and is healing normally.

Swelling
If needed, apply a clean, cold compress over closed eyes for short intervals. Do not apply ice directly to the skin or place pressure on the treated area.

Cleaning & Moisture
Keep the treated area clean and dry according to your aftercare instructions. Avoid direct shower pressure on the eyes.

If an aftercare ointment is recommended, apply only a very thin layer. Do not over-apply ointment or heavy products near the lash line.

Do not soak or submerge the eye area in pools, hot tubs, lakes, baths, or other bodies of water for approximately 2 weeks, or until fully healed.

Do not pick, scratch, scrub, peel, or exfoliate the treated area. Allow any flaking or dryness to shed naturally.

Eye Makeup
Avoid eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, eye makeup remover, and other eye cosmetics on or near the treated area until healing is complete.

When you resume mascara, use a new, uncontaminated mascara rather than an older tube.

Skincare Products
Avoid applying Retin-A/retinoids, glycolic acids, exfoliating acids, anti-aging products, acne treatments, or other irritating skincare products directly on or near the treated area until fully healed.

Sun & Tanning
Avoid direct sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 30 days. After healing, sun protection can help reduce premature fading.

Lash Growth Serums & Extensions
Do not use lash-growth serums for 30 days following your procedure, unless otherwise directed by your healthcare provider.

If you wear eyelash extensions, wait at least 14 days or until the eyeliner is fully healed before having extensions reapplied.

During Healing
Avoid excessive steam, saunas, heavy perspiration, and activities that may repeatedly expose the healing area to moisture or irritation.
